In contrast, the acc (brodmann"s areas 24 and 32) was more active when responding to incongruent stimuli, consistent with a role in performance monitoring. Although the impact of mindfulness training (mt) on self-regulation is well established, the neural mechanisms supporting such plasticity are poorly understood.
