George whitefield 1739- is responsible for the great awakening to other colonies. He goes to every city in the colonies and thousands would come to hear him. He tells the people god loves you so much that everyone is equal in the terms of self-worth. Ben franklin- goes to hear him and gives him lots of money to help him out. they become friends.
