Sacroiliac joint(croup)- where the sacrum and iliac meet, highest point on the butt. Dock- fleshy, top part of the horses tail. Buttock- point of shoulder to point of buttock to weigh them. Furthest point that protrudes from the back of the horse. Tail- permanent hair used to swat against bugs. Point of hock- largest joint on the hind legs. Jugular groove- indentation of the lower portion of the neck, sits just above the windpipe. Point of shoulder- very end of the shoulder. Chestnut- where the legs were attached, callus formation- shed naturally.
