Silk- is any synthetic fiber which resembles silk, but typically costs less to produce. Mostly used as clothing especially in the old days. Rock-cut/grottos- is the creation of structure and sculptures to create a design and made by man from the start to finish. Gilt metal & pearls- is metal that has been spread over the surface of an object for decorative or ornamental purposes. Examples: jowo rinpoche, enshrined in the jokhang temple.
