Inequality in housing, income, wealth, education, etc. Certain groups are not provided w/ proper education to gain a higher income, better housing, health-care, etc. When they"re elderly, don"t have means to seek proper health-care. Family don"t have the means to hire people. Few financial savings to apply to financial health-care. Asians, latinos less likely to be offered housing homes. Local help from communities/people they"re connected to. More importance on informal networks than white families would. More social support/network = less likely to have mental health problems. Religion, marriage, & families: focus on the family. Most religions prohibit divorce catholics, islam, hinduism. Most religions want to have members members die, leave. Look down upon those who marry outside of religion: if so insist on conversion. Sometimes abortion is prohibited comes in the way of family size. Some are patriarchal distinctive goals of males/females: males typically family head, religious socialization.
