Was supposed to shock person after every mistake. Most gave the shocks because they were told. Factors affecting obedience the closer the authority figure, the more likely the person will follow orders. Definition changing one"s attitudes or behaviors to accommodate the standards of peers or groups. Some subjects will change their answers in order to conform with the group. The more we are exposed to something, the more we like it. We generally like people who are similar to us (looks and personality) Similarity is important in starting a relationship. But complemtarity is more important for keeping the relationship going.
