Battery: offensive touching, such as slapping, hitting, or punching. Assault: either attempted battery or intentionally frightening a victim by word or deed. Robbery: the taking or attempting to take anything of value from the care, custody, or control of a person or persons by force or threat of force or violence &/or putting the victim in fear. Rape (before 2012): the carnal knowledge of a female forcibly & against her will. Rape (after 2012): penetration, no matter how slight, of the vaginal or anus with any body part of object, or oral penetration by a sex organ of another person, without the consent of the victim. Political crime: illegal acts that are designed to undermine, challenge or damage an existing government & threaten its survival. Election fraud: illegal interference with the process of an election. Treason: an act if disloyalty to ones nation. Espionage: obtaining & disseminating information considered secret or confidential without the permission of the original holder.
