When we create the spectacle we are bending the real world. The spectacle is the construction which reconstructs the world. Does the leaders know they are a construction. We would have to reconstruct the idea of drugs but then you would have to convince everyone that their reality is wrong. We have a construction that tells us people coming into our country is not a positive thing. Immigration is currently at an all-time low and our deportations are at an all-time high.
