The subject position that influenced my writing is that i came from a good socio- economic background. It allowed me attend good schools throughout my life, so i look at the way children learn differently based on how i learned in my youth. Teachers were able to give specialized help if a student was having trouble at any point, something i took for granted. There were many resources made available to me when i was younger, and at that time i thought everyone could have access to helpful tools like speech worksheets if they needed help.
