Document Summary

When we study the overall dynamics organisms have in any given area, that is ecology. Food in which we eat and ecosystems in which they reside is crucial for our survival. There needs to be a system of constant recycling, which is where decomposers come into play. Population-ultimate goal of studying species is to determine if its thriving or on decline; look at reproductive rates and population distribution; simplified version of whats going on in species; 3 distributions- random, uniform, and clumped. Random distribution is observed where theres an abundance of resources, not just food, and also a lot of space. A uniform distribution is the opposite bc theres a competition for resources. It can also be a territorial thing in the animal kingdom. A clumped distribution has a wide variety to it. You find it when species is localized around the nutrients. In an oasis there"s an abundance of light bc that"s where resources are.
