Constitutional rule regarding eminent domain every country has the power to take public private property, but they must be fairly compensated. If you have committed a crime they just take your shit. Do it because they believe that it would be beneficial for society. This is not the purpose of eminent domain. Grand jury: not a trial, secret prosecutorial proceeding (investigation) don"t have to be secret, but they often are, because the person is not yet a defendant. In time of war and public danger and for noncitizens these don"t apply. Double jeopardy if a criminal defendant is prosecuted for a particular crime by a particular jurisdiction (state, federal) and found not guilty for it, he or she cannot be prosecuted for that crime again.
