Now it is for liberalism and against liberalism (in the form of maoist communism and stalin"s communism) 1990 - collapse of ussr = triumph of liberalism. It"s not that he means nothing interesting will happen in this world, but the clash between ideologies has come to an end. They"re not the majority of the people in the world and other people probably want a say. Future conflicts will be about western values v. religious civilizations.
