Iv: for participative and pacesetting- style only works when you have trained/ competent staff, what does a leader have to possess, functional and technical skills, self-development and self-understanding skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills. Current models of leadership: ei- emotional intelligence: people need both intrapersonal and interpersonal skills to adjust to the world. They must be aware of self, be able to adapt to changes, self-motivate, empathize with others, have good social skills: authentic leadership: there is a correlation between this still and positive performance outcomes!
