Shared knowledge that no one talks about. Both show how women have a strong influence not upfront, but influence the field in the background. Women are passive bystanders of political landscape but play a key role in information/gossip of the court. Moliere satirizes women at least c because she flirts with all the guys and ends up with nobody; sevinge seems to approve of that kind of thing. No it"s a 24/7 role, a(cid:374)d it just (cid:271)e(cid:272)o(cid:373)es their li(cid:448)es. I do(cid:374)"t thi(cid:374)k the(cid:455)"re pla(cid:455)i(cid:374)g a role, the(cid:455) (cid:449)ould(cid:374)"t see it that (cid:449)a(cid:455). Also their goal is to reach a certain level, they fulfill the requirements of their role. People do(cid:374)"t like al(cid:272)este (cid:271)e(cid:272)ause he does(cid:374)"t pla(cid:455) that role, a(cid:374)d he refuses to (cid:272)o(cid:374)for(cid:373) to that. No formal power, but significant influence on court society, politics. Take advantage of their position; only purpose is to be courted.
