Greeks end as a period of costume at hellenic 323 or 146 bce when corinth is burned and it"s treasures taken to rome, following which rome is dominant in costumes. Roman republic arises in 509 bce after a period of roman monarchies, eventually becomes an empire after fall of greece with caesar coming into power as consul in 59 bce.
