Individual: people who receive an education have greater mobility than those that do not. Inter-generational: people who get an education are able to be more mobile than their parents. Although not if others are getting more education (bourdieu) Education can also have additional benefits to both individual & society. Health: studies have shown that education increases the life chances of both the educated and children. : a common finding that female education is more important for limiting child mortality than male education.
