Document Summary

Specific subset group of archaic homo sapiens in europe and middle east only. This is a hominin that is very much adapted to cold weather climate, very different. Cranial characteristics environment than we"ve normally been talking about for hominin evolution. Larger than modern humans, but their bodies are larger than ours. Barrel chest, more muscular arms, stronger limb proportions, larger mass bodied hominin. Not all have this but many do sometimes pop up in modern humans especially of european decent. Characteristic of all other hominins we"ve seen so far, but this separates. Neither homo sapiens nor neanderthals are like homo erectus with big, shelf-like. Lack of parietal bosses top of sides of skull that is the widest in modern supraorbital torus humans. Neanderthals widest part is lower on the sides. Warms air before passes under brain into body. Problem: modern human variation is the complete inverse. Africa: wider nasal aperture warmer climate.
