Vomer base & little posterior to cartilage of nose; cartilage attached to this bone. Ethmoid bone bone between eyes called a cranial bone because one of the 8 bones forming brain case above the sphenoid. Sphenoid bone articulates with frontal, parietal, & temporal bones.
