Means of production: includes tools, machinery, technical knowledge, skills, etc. Relations of production: the social relationships that organize productive activities. Workers don"t control the means of production. Workers own nothing but their own labour power and they must sell labour to capitalists to survive. Workers produce value that is greater than the wage they are paid.
