Norms and values: you share ideas (what"s right and what"s wrong etc. ) All cultures have symbols: something that represents something else, religious symbols, political symbols, etc. Change/adaption: all cultures change and adapt, for a culture to survive you need to be able to adapt to change. Technology/communications: as characters of culture it is now shared. Globalization: interconnection of commerce, business, education, connectivity with people. Urbanization: 60% of the world"s population lives in cities, exposure to other cultures (adapting to other ways of living) Younger people because they are more open to change. Diffusion - take one thing from one culture add to another. Acculturation - when one society replaces another culture with their own by force.
