Digress: mill and kant are operating in the hake of david hume who makes a famous argument that no proof of ethics/ morality is possible. Okay, sorta considerations for a morality even if not confusion (mill) Paragraphes: technically speaking, no ultimate and (utility) for morality can be proven, but we can appeal to the same faculties, we use to observe the matters of facts. We emotionally come to identify them as indispensable to happiness. This identification process is good because we are thereby furnished with a variety of pleasures: he says our feeling about virtue are comparable to money, power, fame except virtue makes us loved.
