Ethnocentrism is the assumption that one"s own culture is entirely right, everyone else is wrong. Ethnocentrism is not, by far, the only alternative to relativism. Just believe you believe in universal values does not mean you think your culture has it. Rsl: relativism is not a good answer to ethnocentrism because relativism must agree that every culture is right, whether thru centric or not.
