Document Summary

Reading freud"s beyond the pleasure principles, poetics, lacan. Freud believes that when you dream, both coexist. Beginning, middle, and end of a narrative signify desire. Both desire of full lowering of excitation and complete reduction is when you are dead. Trying to define the end you find at a long, fictional narrative. When you read you get excited, but you also look forward to end (fulfillment) Middle is the most un-pleasurable part, but it is exciting. Trauma that happens to me is not trauma i can master, i didn"t control it. In repetition of trauma, i try to control the return of the memory. You blame yourself as a victim of trauma for not having the sufficient vigilance to have warded it off initially. An organism only wishes to die on its own terms, also has pleasure principles and wants to live life of certain rich magnitude.
