The exam will consist mainly of multiple choice questions (approximately 50 questions worth 2 points each) and one short essay question. Your essay question is worth up to 4 extra bonus points. Know all bold-faced terms in chapters that we covered in the powerpoint slides. Review all powerpoint slides and related chapter topics from the book that we covered in class-- I will ask you relatively general questions on the test in regard to the topics we covered in the power point . Your essay question will be on the levels of racism article (a gardener"s tale) and on the notes. I posted regarding bonilla-silva"s thoughts on colorblind racism be able to write an essay that touches on the 3 levels of racism and some of the rhetorical strategies or frames used as discussed in bonilla-silva"s articles.
