Called for a boycott of jewish businesses (march 1933) The nazis had been very cautious about pushing their anti-jew policy too hard . Hitler had a lot of support, he feared losing this support if he went too far. The german people did not embrace this boycott of jewish businesses. In fact, many people expressly went to their businesses to demonstrate their support of the jewish people. Law for the restoration of a professional civil service (april 1933) This meant removing jews and communists from any state jobs. Positions including judges, school teachers, professors, police o cers. This law was much more popular than the boycott had been. The nazis had been pushing the point that in such positions, the jews could spread their nasty ideals. Taking jobs away from jews gave jobs to germans. The approach they would take would be a biological one jewishness is something inside of you.
