Mannequins can become visually boring, so diferent approaches break the patern. Image is of the utmost importance in selecing alternaives. Form: a three dimensional representaion of a part of the human anatomy. Such as torso, bust, shoulder-waist, hips to ankles. Three-quarter form: has a body extending to knees or just below the knees and can have adjustable rod and a weighted A headless 3-quarter form = a torso form. The dress form is an armless vision of the 3-quarter form. Neutral 3-d body form does not make a statement . Does litle to promote a fashion image: other forms. Sot-sculpted figures: a life-size doll available covered in black, dark brows, or of white jersey like fabrics with litle or no facial details, sot sculpted children"s igures are especially popular and adoptable. Ariculated arists figure: life size igures based on the small wooden miniatures, abstractness lends itself to decoraive and undressed applicaions as well as full dressed and accessorized displays.
