A process of internalizing and acting from social perspective through communication. Physical, cognitive, emotional, social, moral: process. The reaction or response: social perspective. Direct definition: the labels used to describe who we are and how we act, living up to the label. Identity script: rules for how we live and who we are supposed to be. Attachment styles: patterns of parenting that teach us who we and others are and how to relate to others, secure attachment style. Primary caregiver interacts in a consistently attentive and loving way: fearful attachment style. Primary caregiver communicates in negative, neglecting, or abusive ways: dismissive attachment style. A caregiver who is disinterested, rejecting, or abusive: anxious/ ambivalent attachment style. Inconsistent treatment, sometimes the caregiver is loving and attentive and other times the caregiver is indifferent and rejecting. Social compassion: comparing ourselves with others to gauge our talents, attractiveness, abilities and skills, self-fulfilling prophesy.
