Becoming older brings a couple or call it even many difficulties with it. From sensory
challenges, losing bone density, hearing and vision difficulties, to less ability smell
and taste. Also decreasing of muscle mass, lung capacity, metabolism and lung
capacity. Muscle mass decreases and usually weight increase. It also brings some
diseases/disorders, dementia, Neurocognitive Disorder Specifiers and Alzheimer’s
disease
Besides al the negative effects are there also positive effects of getting older, like
elderly people experience less negative emotion than young people, which make
them more skilled at regulating emotions.
Not everyone handles getting older the same way, some people had a good life and
just live the rest of it, others don’t want it to be over yet and other enjoy there retired
life.
Euthanasia is a much debated topic. I personally think they should legalize it in
America, like it is legalized in many other countries. There are certain cases where
people have to live with so much pain or that they’re not really her with their mind
anymore, where it should be possible to end a human life. But even when it is
legalized, the procedure is really long to get it. This is also something where there
should be different procedures, depending on the case.
