Warranty law: you can have a guarantee with the manufacturer that your product will be replaced if it breaks during the warranty period. Common types of defects: defects in manufacture, defects in design, defects in packaging, failure to warn. Assumption of the risk (only in negligence cases) All you have to do (as the defendant) is poke a hole in one of the plainti s claims and then you can disprove their claims. Strict liability exists when there is liability without fault: abnormally dangerous activity. For strict liability you cannot claim unintentional tort.
