With the nation-state, we see a rise in nationalism, or a sense of pride and identification with a particular nation. This has important consequences for our sense of self and belonging in the world and our actions. Globalization impacts nationalism (cid:271)ut (cid:374)atio(cid:374)s ha(cid:448)e(cid:374)"t disappeared, e(cid:448)e(cid:374) i(cid:374) today"s increasingly connected world. A key feature of globalization is the movement of people.
