Introduction (what): i want to take a different approach based on my wa#3 because i have much more to say on an issue that branches of the concept of college but also schools in general. For this essay, i would like to write an op-ed based on transgender bathrooms since this is has been an ongoing issue that is yet to be resolved. Many transgender individuals are confused on which bathroom to use and some are being denied the right to use the faculty they identify themselves as. Only a number of states have accepted the bill and now have laws banning discrimination in public accommodations. In particular, the decree is based on title ix, the 1972 law prohibiting sex discrimination in schools that receive federal funding. I want to persuade my the rest of the states that have not implemented these laws so that all americans can feel like they belong.
