Unfortunately, animals are often used for human entertainment, and it has only gotten worse since smartphones arrived. Not only does it lead to animal abuse, but also a lack of appreciation for these incredible animals. I think that it is amazing that instagram is stepping in, but it is also important how they do so. Many of the people taking these photos may not realize that they are doing anything wrong. The sloths constantly look like they are happy, and a lot of animals smile aka show their teeth, when they are afraid.
