Vlad sokhin: a late blooming, yet successful, documentary photographer. One project, he photographed witches and witch hunters in papua new guineau. Look into genesis (book that went around to every major museum in the world). It"s not the photographer who makes the picture, but the person being photographed. also a documentary photographer. Steve mccurry: guy who took the green eyed girl picture. Forgets to duck in the heat of war! For 2 weeks, stay for 2 years, get beaten almost to death and shoot. Prime lenses typically have less distortion because there are fewer pieces of glass made in higher quality. In zoom lenses, there can be up to 20 pieces of glass, and, unless they are very expensive, are usually made quite cheaply. In addition, prime lenses have wider apertures while zoom cameras sacrifice aperture to zoom. Wide angle lenses can have a wider aperture and still be in focus while telephoto lenses will be blurred quickly.
