Start with learning the most basic level of organization: atoms, molecules (inorganic/organic, cell, basic structural and functional unit of life, tissue, groups of cells that work together to perform a similar function, 4 types of tissues. Nerves: organ, structures composed of two or more different types of tissues. Have specific functions and recognizable shapes: organ system, body made of 11 systems. Consists of related organs with a common function: organism, consists of collection of organ systems. In health all parts of the body must be functioning together in a process called homeostasis.
