If god is omniscient, he knows about all these things; omnibenevolent, should want to stop it; omnipotent has the ability to stop it. 1. if god exists, he is the 3 o (see above) 2. if there were a triple o being, there would be no evil/pain/suffering in the world. 3. but there is horrendous pain and suffering within the world. 4. therefore, there is not a triple o being. God has shown himself capable of these horrendous deeds; soddom and gomorra, letting his son die, etc. Denying the first premise eliminates the argument, the easiest way out of the argument. Denying the first premise also denies many traditions of christianity. God has harmed people for the greater good. Noah"s ark, soddom and gomora, death of christ on the cross. Look at different ways of denying this premise. Somehow or other, the existence of good requires the existence of evil. The universe is overall better with the existence of bad things as well.
