Can also be repackaged again as methionine by using vitamin b12 and folic acid. Lack of b6, b12+folic acid = buildup of homocysteine. People with genetic defect that cannot synthesize b6 will have high homocysteine. Second hand smoke does the same thing. Under a lot of stress, sympathetic nervous system will be activated. Norepinephrine will activate hormone sensitive lipase -> breaks down triglycerides to fatty acids which leaves the cell and goes to liver. Packages it to vldl and sends it back. Higher blood pressure as well (the difference between stress and exercise is that when exercising the fatty acids are being used rather than being packaged as vldls) With increasing body weight comes increasing pathologies.
