Having students discuss and interact and digest information that is given to them through direct instruction. Walking around the room and hearing different students and asking them questions. Classroom lessons videotapes, teacher behaviors analyzed to determine which ones predicted classrooms with high amounts of student involvement and low levels of deviant behavior. Good classroom management stems from good lesson management. An awareness of what is going on in all parts of the classroom at all times. The ability to identify exactly who is involved in appropriate behavior (being on target)
