Vatican palace rome) depicts the two most important mysteries of the church the trinity and the eucharist. The heavenly shows an arc of angels that are foreshortened. The trinity is depicted in circular form (halos behind them), as they are flanked by mary and john (composition resembles jan and hubert van eyck"s altarpiece of the lamb (interior) at ghent). A figure on the right leans into the viewer"s space. On this figure"s side are dante and sixtus iv.
