Nietzsche says morality is witch: what she does is transform and make use think things we shouldn"t, wants us to think about real values. Moralists don"t know what we should be understanding about human nature and value: turning us into animals. Works against all traditional kinds of philosophies. Makes alarming revision of everything learned so far: all that is self-righteous, smug, and complacent. Liked to claim that world"s first immoralists. Must re-value everything we"ve been taught: especially christianity. A great man was above responsibility and duty and compassion: was not meant nor did not need to be good . Goal of humanity: not found in any process that has an end. Aristotle: self-sufficiency in eudaimonia happiness is the end. St. thomas: god is directing all natural things to their end and that every agent, especially the intellectual agent, or man, is acting for that good. Hume: that the end of all moral action is to teach us our duty.
