Health policy refers to decisions, plans and actions that are undertaken to achieve speci c health care goals within a society (who, 2018). How well are we doing delivering health care. What is likely to work in the future given our political process right now we have a republic administration which can change the health policies. What roles should health professionals and ordinary citizens play in the process of health policy nurses are either for or against nurse staf ng ratios. They are voting but they are not deciding how the ration should take place it is the citizens who decide. Policy decisions are made at multiple levels in the us: State and local government medicaid implementations and regulations. Health care institutions, who develop their own set of policies for their own institutions. Provider professionals, who also have their own set of decision-making (like requirements for licensure is different among different provider professional).
