Nomothetic: aspects of a theory that applies to people of a general population. Theory has to help you understand the person in front of you. Extrovert: enjoys being social because they anticipate a good time. Introvert: they do not being around a lot of people. Prefer to be at home, preferably by themselves or one other person at home with an activity they enjoy. Aristotle: the more common and the more it applies to people, the more useful it is. Galileo: if there are any exceptions to the theory then it disproves it. Creative illusionism: notion that self observations from therapists led to theories which led to relating to other people.
