Stories are the secret reservoir of values; change the stories that individuals live by and you change the individuals and nations themselves. Events (discourse) stories levels of analysis- how they are told. Ideology how the world is & should be, shared by members of a group. Clusters of language typically used by group, e. g. religious, political, military. A package of knowledge about an area of life to structure another area of life trigger words, e. g. the battle against cancer. What it means to be a particular kind of person. Forms of language that define characteristics of certain kinds of people. Conviction whether a particular description of the world is true, uncertain or false. Facticity patterns, e. g. the great climate swindle denying cc. It is the transformation of characters that gives the audience the chance to transform as well. Physical, inner strength, emotional, moral, psychological, social, intellectual/creative, and spiritual.
