Meeting on thursdays in the c4 lounge as needed. Everyone shares their opinion and we"ll vote democratically on the best strategy possible. We"ll be using google docs and groupme to communicate. We will split the workload as equally as possible. Support members who have a busy schedule. Collaboratively discuss 3-4 specific strategies for a current player or the industry as a whole to either better market their product or better prepare for impending changes. Our objective for this project is to better understand how the sharing economy functions, how it affects existing industries, and what these industries can do about it. Everyone will be sharing opinions and collaborating ideas to contribute to the overall presentation equally. Sharing economy: airbnb: the sharing economy as it has been called, is nothing new. However, we have seen industries such as hotels and taxis be disrupted by companies like airbnb and uber. What are the social-political factors to be considered.
