Not everyone thought it was a critical period the hamiltons and je ersons, federalists didn"t think so at all. There are good things and bad things about this time emancipation, gradual abolition, but also a strengthening of the slave system in the south. Education is important for je erson, because it"s how republics stay alive the children are going to learn to be just like mom and dad if there are slave plantation. Je erson argues that environments of slavery are bad for white children and the future of america even says that god will smite the us at some point for slavery. Not soon after, in query 14, je erson speaks with a terrible degree of racism: Je erson says here that blacks and whites are inherently di erent in appearance and bodily functions. In imagination, they are dull, tasteless and anomalous.
