1 Umair Ali Khatri- User Experience Consul-
tant and Entrepreneur in Residence at Nest

This lecture was provided by a former student of Waqar Saleem from Fast
National University, Umair Ali Khatri to conduct a talk on Computer Science.
The students were proud to have Umair Ali Khatri Omar as a speaker at Habib
University. He is a Computer Science expert, made frequent appearances in
various universities such as University of Sindh discussing on topics related to
Computer Science. His accumulated experience and knowledge in computer
science are formidable.
He initiated his lecture session with the definition of Computer Science from
Wikipedia and his emphasises was more on UX(user experience) and UI(User
interface). The session was made interactive by thought provoking questions
posed by Mr Umair Ali khatri to the student audience for example, why they
choose Computer Science ? For which convincing answers were given by the
student audience such as it is a mixture of all the fields related to informa-
tion,network and interaction.
Later speaker has narrated why he choose to pursue a degree in Computer
Science due to his pure love for designing cool animation. He talked how he
applies his knowledge of computer science of four year to his practical life.He
talks briefly about how he initially worked on how Mandiexpress came into being
and asked students if they were familiar with it.Only two students confirmed
that they had heard about it.
He talked about how he opened design studio to pursue what he was pas-
sionate about. Morever,he gave the students tips to succeed at Habib University
which were as follows:

4. Do not worry .You will figure it out.
During the session he talks about how he self learned about User Experience
through Dvds,watching youtube and playing an active role on online social me-
dia.He mentioned about how he wanted to attend a UX conference in Turkey
