Tics: no specific to humans but they will infect us: hyperparasitism: parasites that have their own parasites. Fleas can get a disease from other organisms. Can be ecto, obligate, and permanent at the same time. Vectors: carries parasite form one host to another. Can be another animal: biological: parasite goes through part of life cycle in that vector. Mosquito: mechanical: parasite doesn"t go thorugh any part of the life cycle in the vector.
