Document Summary
Bold notes - are the notes from the powerpoint. Highlighted terms - are key terms to know. Notes with - in front are my notes beyond what is on the screen. Assumptions are important in shaping what your prior apologetics is: people love talking about god, but they hate being preached at. Love talking through theology but hate being looked down upon by the person they are engaging. Some may have been really hurt by faith, or christianity so they put up walls. Maybe they have been talked at so you have to be careful about what you do: the apologetic hippocratic oath - do no harm! Don"t make one thing better by making other things worse. In certain circumstances just shut your mouth: an awkward, forced conversation is worse than no conversation. Talking does more damage than silence, holy spirit can"t fix words once they are out of your mouth: allow conversations to emerge organically.
