Stalin had ignored many months of warnings that germany would invade. When he was informed of invasion, he demanded proof. Stalin was 73, had ruled for 25 years. Unsurprising that he didn"t want to change course! Instead post great terror, he reaffirmed dominant perspectives. No more socialism in one country socialist camp.
