Letting die: doing something active, such as withdrawing life support which allows the illness to kill, or omission to withhold life extending life medication or operation. She begged the doctor to kill her because she was living in constant agony. He was prosecuted and convicted of murder and served a year. Suffering from leukemia and did not accept treatment. Wanted to take her life on her terms by herself. The doctor prescribed a medication and she overdoes on them.
