Rules and regulation so people are not overly influenced. Filter bubbles: use information to target to see what motivates consumer and their behavior. Not given a fair spectrum of ideas since ads target specific ideas so not everyone is given the same information. This builds trust, we can keep people accountable and if things go wrong we can see where it went wrong and who is responsible.
